Tommy Haas just won the title in Halle at age 34...by beating Roger Federer (!?!). I was happy he even got to the final, but to win a pre-Wimbledon grass-court event against one of (if not the) best players of all time is...superb. Good on him!
As far as the other Wimbledon warm up tournament, Queens - lets just say it was controversial. First the defending champion and perennial house favorite, Andy Murray (boo!) loses in the first round (heh heh) and then Nalbandian gets disqualified in the final after TAKING THE FIRST SET (!) from Marin Cilic - because he kicked a wooden stand INTO a line judge.
I couldn't make this stuff up, really.
Wimbledon looks like its gonna be a blast.
